The Weekend Warrior: A Hugh Davis Folio (13 photos)

For over a year we've been running Hugh Davis' weekly photo blog, The Weekend Warrior, on our website. In most parts of the world, photos coming in this regularly might occasionally show sick waves and great shots, but Hugh's shots have consistently stood out, not just because the surf in West Oz is so damn good (an 'average day' there is close to A-grade anywhere else), but also because he clearly has a great eye for composition and a love of what he's doing. So we figured it was time to give Mr. Davis some much-deserved colored ink. Herewith is a sampling of what's got our attention from a wandering up-and-coming surf shooter who's making the most of his wild-edge opportunities.
